The threat of rain and thunderstorms didn’t dampen the generosity of those who attended the first annual Garden Party in support of the Battlefords branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). The event on Friday night raised more than $50,000.
Attendees ate and were entertained by Beer League, Back Of the Bus and recording artist Jeffrey Straker all in an effort to raise funds for the Make Room for Mental Health Campaign. CMHA is in the process of purchasing its new building, the former Lion’s Den in Battleford.
