Here are some things you probably should know! But do you ?!? Ever believed something was the way it is…because…well you know it’s true! You might be experiencing the ‘Mandela Effect’ (watch the final video below to learn more). For example how many of you think the famous quote is “Houston, we have a problem or Houston we’ve got a problem!” Guess what…you would be wrong! It’s actually neither of those and from the official NASA audio it actually was “Houston we’ve had a problem.”
Not Mirror, Mirror On The Wall!
Like many others we believed “mirror, mirror” to be correct. It’s the version of the phrase that most of us aid when referencing it.
However in the 1937 Disney classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs the Evil Queen utters the famous line “Magic mirror, on the wall – who is the fairest one of all?”. It has not been changed or edited since its original release.
Fingers Don't Make The Noise
That’s right…its your finger hitting your palm…not the two fingers!
According to Wikipedia – “Snapping one’s fingers is the act of creating a snapping or clicking sound with one’s fingers. Primarily this is done by building tension between the thumb and another finger and then moving the other finger forcefully downward so it hits the palm of the same hand at a high speed.”
No Monocle For The Monopoly Man
Rich Uncle Pennybags never had a monocle. Seriously, go to your closet and dig up the Monopoly box inevitably buried near the back.
And before you ask, no, his design hasn’t changed at all since he was introduced in Monopoly‘s Community and Chance cards in 1936!
Oh but Mr. Peanut had a monocle.
